Auditory Integration Training – from the ears to the brain.

Balance the Way You Process Sound — And the Way You Function

AIT Sessions Available in NC, TN, and GA

Auditory Integration Training (AIT) for Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Challenges.

AIT isn’t about hearing better. It’s about helping the brain process sound better—leading to real improvements in focus, calm, and daily life.

✅ Boost Focus and Learning
✅ Ease Sensory Stress and Meltdowns
✅ Find Better Balance — Without Meds

What is Berard AIT?

Berard Auditory Integration Training helps the brain sort, balance, and respond to sound more effectively—without invasive therapies or endless exercises.

If you (or your child) struggle with sound sensitivity, attention problems, sensory overload, or emotional reactivity, AIT could be the missing link.

“But hearing tests were normal…”

Exactly.
Most strong AIT candidates have perfectly fine hearing on paper.
The real issue isn’t hearing—it’s processing sound in real life: filtering background noise, reacting calmly, staying focused in busy environments.

These hidden struggles are often missed, especially for people with autism, ADHD, or learning challenges.

How AIT Works:

  • 10 total hours of listening to specially filtered music, AIT was developed by ENT Dr. Guy Berard
  • 2 half-hour sessions per day
  • Usually completed in 8–14 days
  • Flexible scheduling — including weekends if needed
  • We closely follow Dr. Berard’s original proven method

Adults may prefer fewer, longer visits; kids often benefit from sticking to a gentle daily pace, Monday–Friday or weekend schedules.

Who AIT Helps:

  • Children, teens, and adults with sensory processing difficulties
  • Individuals with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or emotional regulation issues
  • People with “normal hearing” but real-world struggles with noise, focus, and balance
