The following is shared by parents and participants who have benefited from AIT
with me through 2018. I am excited to resume doing AIT in 2025.

Parent KK, from Clear Lake TX: Hi Jennifer, I thought you might be interested to
hear - We have been in school over a month now and kids got progress reports last
week. For the first time ever K (age 10, AIT this past summer) came home with
straight A's!!! Also, we have been able to go without meds for ADHD for the first
time since kindergarten! Thanks for everything - still seeing improvements! K's
mom

Parent NB, Hi Jennifer, So far B has been much calmer than usual. (B is 7, has Asperger
Syndrome, finished AIT 2 weeks ago) Some improvement with focus. He asks some
pretty deep questions, and the other day he really surprised me when he had
gotten in trouble for lying after I had told him not to eat some candy he was
allergic to. (We were at a karate studio and a friend had bought a huge bag of
candy, I saw B follow that friend to the back of the room and told him not to
eat it or he would get sick). He said ok. A few minutes later I found him
hiding in the dressing room eating candy. I put him in time out. In the past
he would have said I was mad because he had eaten the candy. This time he
took a deep breath and asked, mom, are you more mad because I ate the candy,
or because I lied to you. I asked him what he thought, and he said "because I
lied." I was really surprised. He used to go on and on with the same question
if he didn't like the answer, this past week he seems to know when to stop,
and is regulating himself a little more. He had a good week at school last week.
His teacher reported that he is more redirectable and making better choices.
I anticipate continued improvement as more time passes with hope and excitement.
Hope all is well with you.
Sincerely, NB (BB’s mom)

Parent Jenny C., Oregon mother of 5 year old son with autism: I thought I would write
to you and let you know how amazing Connelly is doing. His speech has improved,
focus, attention and he is just becoming a more typical child. People that were
very skeptical of AIT before we did it are total believers that it truly helps
children. Connelly's speech therapist and OT have seen the same results in him
and they do not communicate with each other. The OT calls his results dramatic.
In fact we meet with Connelly's autism preschool teacher and because he is doing
so well she told me he no longer is really benefiting from the school. We are
very excited about this news. He has just been doing absolutely amazing since
finishing his AIT therapy.

Terri C., Oregon parent of 6 year old with autism says, "Our speech therapist says

his test before AIT and the test after AIT shows very strong gains with auditory processing!"

Natalie, Texas parent of a young boy with many sensory issues says 4 weeks after
AIT: “The only word that I can use to describe Brandon's progress is amazing!!!
His anxiety level has decreased dramatically and I can calm him down in almost
any situation. He is also playing differently (a lot of make believe) and
speaking in longer sentences. I haven't changed much of his other therapies
so I have to give the credit to the AIT.” And, 8 weeks after AIT this parent
wrote: “He's still improving and making jumps - his sensory issues seem to be
improving. If you decide to come back next summer I definitely want B to do
AIT again.”

Jenni B. CA mom says this 3 months after AIT, "Mikey has become much less noise
sensitive. Rarely will he cover his ears now. He also can play with a variety of
competing background noises without flipping out. This is great because he can be
down in the living room with us, playing his computer while we watch tv or talk.
Mikey has also become completely potty trained in the last 2 months! Thanks for
following up!" Jenni B.

Dale and Regina of Idaho allow their story to be told. They began mainstream education

for their 5 year-old (diagnosed on autism spectrum) after AIT. While they prepared for a
bit of a rocky road, having previously used the special classes for children with
developmental delays, they have received the best reports they could imagine.
Their daughter’s learning and behavior is at the top of the class according to
teachers. Dale and Regina feel that AIT has dramatically helped their little
girl make the best use of behavioral therapy (IBI) and other therapies this
year.

Scott E. of the Washington explains that his middle school-aged daughter, Hailey,
diagnosed with autism, is "getting more language, speaking more clearly, answering
questions better" and is experiencing less echolalia post AIT. Hailey is not as
bothered by loud noises as much as she was in the past and plays, talks, and
interacts more with others.

Dot M. of Idaho reports that her daughter, Beth, is able to tolerate noisier
environments and is enjoying movies at the theater and games in gymnasiums for
the first time just a few weeks post AIT. Beth experienced a great deal of
auditory hypersensitivity prior to AIT and Beth’s learning lab teacher notices a
difference too.

Stephanie N. of Mountain Home, ID, says, “Tony’s therapists say they notice more
eye contact and some new words! At home his father notices that he plays with
toys differently, being involved in new ways!” Stephanie says that while
Tony experienced loud snoring every night prior to AIT, that during AIT his
night-time and nap-time snoring came to an end altogether.
Bina P. of Idaho feels that her son Mike, aged 35, diagnosed with autism, has
experienced “quite a lovely change since AIT several months back. Bina reports
that Mike will now watch a whole movie and make fully in-context comments on the
film. Prior to this, he only watched 10 minutes of a football games and leave
the living room due to over-stimulation. Mike seems better able to answer questions
and talk about things for the first time. “We are still seeing effects of it (AIT)
and are quite pleased. For the first time in his life, Mike asked me
“How was work today, Mom?”

Lisa and Geoff L. of Boise, Idaho explain how AIT is helping their son, Dylan, age
6, during their AIT training:
We are so excited every day because we're seeing new things! He's tolerating
new things and done really good work with his behavior therapy. In therapy they
are noticing more imaginative play and other developments. He's no longer afraid
when his grandmother's little dog puts paws on him. He's engaged in playing and
reciprocating in ways he never has done before. He laughs, chases us, plays with
his siblings, anticipates our next play moves while giggling and having fun!
He hasn't reached out or engaged with us this much before during play.
He interacts more in board games. Dylan has been thinking of ways to communicate
with us and is more descriptive, such as adding color attributes when asking for
something. He's doing less verbal "stimming" and has been saying "hi" and "bye"
without being prompted at times- which is new! He's even happier than he was
before and we're not seeing crankiness at all lately. We're so happy that AIT
is working for us...and so soon!"
After AIT Dylan made so much progress, his therapists had to work hard to keep up
with him. He required new programs continually!

Patrick and Debbie Niehenke, of Washington state report these benefits for their son, Rich, age 5, who has been diagnosed with autism. AIT seems to have "opened up" Rich's world! After just one session, Rich appeared to be more observant to everyday things and seemed to listen to his surroundings with new interest. His biggest milestone was beginning to use the toilet and he has mastered many other daily life skills that had been a source of so much stress in our routine. He has a new "confidence" about him that shows us much promise for him being able to manage his Autism someday. Rich's teachers have noticed many improvements and huge steps he is taking towards independence following AIT. He explores more and has a new desire to try new things and be social! We are very pleased that AIT has helped Rich open new doors!

Matt H.of Idaho, father of a 2 year-old child diagnosed with autism, says this about his daughter Anna after AIT: "I am a hard-core skeptic, it's just the way I am and I was very skeptical about AIT. But the changes I've seen in the last few weeks make me no longer skeptical about what you've been doing with AIT. The changes are profound with my daughter's attention span. Reactions to spoken works are 100 times better. Her balance is a lot better and she can maneuver better and stay on her feet. Now I exist for her, whereas before she paid no attention to me and others. Anna stays on her feet moving around at least 30% more. I know it was the AIT treatment. My background in nursing and working around kids with special needs also helps me to know it was the AIT treatment that created these improvements. I know about traditional therapy and the other things we have done for her which do help...but not like AIT has!" This child’s mother says: "I'm thrilled with her progress and so is the rest of our family and those people who see her regularly, like people at church. They ask, "What DID you DO?" Now she prefers to walk rather than crawl. I think she'd still be crawling and making no eye contact if not for AIT. Her attention span is SO much better.
We can play ball and her eyes track the ball. When I call her name she looks at
me - not just for a few seconds, but holds my eye contact and looks at my face
for a few minutes! She used to drool profusely and lick everything she could near
her mouth - all that has almost stopped 100%. She's much more affectionate.
She gave me a big hug and rubbed my back! She used to pay no attention to her
baby sister, but now she tries to get her to play with her. The other day we
couldn't believe it, the baby had her fingers in her mouth, which we try to curb
her big sister from doing. Talk about paying attention now...she walked by her
sister and gently pulled the fingers right from her mouth! She's imitating now -
sounds, gestures, and tries to talk more."

Josh C., a 14 year-old who had been been a bit challenged with short-term
auditory memory received AIT less than a month ago says,"I'm a lot calmer
now. Everybody notices it. Most things don’t bother me now and I can concentrate
more. My twin sister and my mother don't irritate me as much. I'm getting a lot
better at remembering things when I get a few directions at one time."
Lauren, Josh's mother says:
"When we've talked I've felt like I am understood. He's looked at me and said,
"I see what you mean." In addition to being more socially and emotionally
mature acting, he focuses well on his studies, even math, which I used to have
to keep after him about. In general, he's also more patient and aware.
He apologized to his sister on his own one day for using unkind words."

Norma P, Idaho is 63. She received AIT in hopes of correcting painfully h
ypersensitive hearing and difficulty with auditory processing and filtering out
sounds. She had a high level of stress and emotional upset and felt it may be
connected with inefficiency in the auditory system. Norma says: "Even prior to
my completing the 10 days of AIT, I noticed a real improvement in my short term
memory and some very positive changes in my thinking. I felt that I was more in
control, more calm and the constant frantic worry was slowly leaving my thoughts.
For years I had been thinking that I couldn't do anything right, no matter how
hard I tried, and I was constantly feeling overwhelmed with too much to do. Now
I feel so confident and calm that I am able to handle anything! I used to have
difficulty hearing and absorbing verbal information, but I no longer do, nor do
I find myself searching for words as I used to. The feeling of hopelessness and
helplessness have been replaced by a very realistic expectation of what I can
easily and capably do with a great sense of calm and genuine contentment. I
have a fine sense of self worth about what I have accomplished. My friends and
family have noticed changes (for the better) in me. They say I'm less tense and
less fearful. I'm enjoying being able to focus better and filter out sounds that
are around me when I'm listening to one thing. Overall, I am not bothered by
high stress levels and I believe it's all tied to the auditory system and
whatever other calming effects take place biochemically with AIT."

Carletta K. age 40, of Idaho says, "I'm lucky to have had AIT within a
week of having a minor stroke. My attention, focusing ability, and
short term memory is even better than it was before the stroke!
With the stroke, I was afraid I would not be able to perform my job as an
analyst. After the first session of 20, I noticed a difference!”

John E. of Georgia says, “I feel more focused and on task. I used to have a
lot of depression. Though it’s only been a couple months since I had AIT,
I feel very different. I’m more productive and not as prone to depression.”

Dr. B. from PA sings in the church choir and says he has a “better ear” and can follow a few conversations in the cafeteria at the same time, as he did in medical school. He’s very pleased with his son’s progress post AIT. He doesn’t know if there’s a connection, but heavy metals blood tests results also improved post AIT. He’s recommending AIT to his physician friends.

Teens and adults who have undergone AIT through Jennifer's practice.
Matt A., age 15, said that he isn't bothered anymore when kids try to annoy him. He's able to ignore things that used to be difficult to ignore. Those things happen less and less.

David S., age 16, considered AIT to be for young kids and he was very annoyed. He let Jennifer know he was angry and was prepared to hate every minute of AIT. His favorite activity in high school was drama. Within 3 or 4 days of AIT David came in beaming, saying that he was having the best time he could imagine having on stage in his improvisational acts. His brain felt so "fluid" and "fast".

Debbie S, in her 30s, had been struck by a fast moving object, hard on her temple and she suffered visual disturbances when in a busy or loud place. She couldn't be near movement, including other people's movement, without experiencing distortion. So,it was nerve-wracking to walk down a city sidewalk or sit next to someone in a class or in church. With much less sensitivity post AIT she was free to resume nearly all of the things she'd given up after the accident.

Margaret, age 46, didn't expect it at all, but said her tone-deafness came to an end after AIT. She is able to carry a tune for the first time. She said she was able to set aside her eyeglasses, and doesn't seem to need them, though this seems strange and unrelated.

Gary, age 68, with Asperger's, became much more flexible after AIT. It was ok to drive a new route in the car rather than to go the standard way. Gary became more conversational after his AIT sessions.

Jennifer S,self. Before AIT I had painfully sensitive hearing in the very high frequency ranges, including 2,000 and 8,000 Hz. The seat belt chime in the car, the microwave beep made me wince with pain.Until happening upon Annabel Stehli's talk on national radio over 20 years ago, I didn't know this wasn't normal. I didn't know it could be fixed! In my case, frequent tension headaches became very few and far between and ended altogether in the year after AIT.
